I am always interested in purchasing collections of North British Railway negatives from pre-grouping through to the final days of British Railways

Although a very tired negative and an equally tired looking locomotive, this picture just oozes charm and character down to the vary faint BR lion and wheel emblem and the riveted patches on the water tank. Although the negative itself has damage, it is nevertheless very sharp in that we can read both the shedplate and the locomotive number on the worksplate attached to the front sandbox. There is also a bucket sitting on top of the water tank in front of the spectacle window.
